- Granted Time, Not Independent Power: When Iblis disobeyed Allah out of arrogance, he asked for respite until the Day of Judgment to attempt to mislead humanity. Any influence Satan exercises exists solely because Allah granted that permission as a temporary test of human free will.
- Limitation of Satan’s Influence: In Islamic scripture, Satan possesses no physical control or sovereign power over the universe or human destiny. His ability is limited to subtle persuasion and temptation (waswas), which believers are taught can be repelled by seeking protection from God.
In Islamic eschatology, Satan will ultimately be judged and consigned to punishment alongside those who chose to follow him, reinforcing the foundational principle that God’s authority is complete and absolute.
